Acknowledging the effect of outdoor space in a person’s overall work experience, an office park built on the 8th floor serves as a vast natural area for social gatherings that promote safe and healthy interaction between the workers. This flexible outdoor space is perfect for different activities that can keep the users holistically healthy. Employees can have their meal and rest breaks allowing them to recharge their bodies, refuel their creativity and essentially make them more relaxed as they return inside to perform their daily office routine. The personal pods installed around the area were designed to create private places of rest and functionality. The park also offers the workers a stunning view of the sunset in the city. Studies show that observing the sunset can give a person an emotional energy boost and it is also a wonderful way to improve his mental and physical health.
While the COVID-19 pandemic may have permanently altered the way we interact with others, we will still naturally seek the companionship of others as part of our wellbeing. Limiting face-to-face contact while still allowing workers to have meaningful interactions with others is an idea carefully thought of by the brains behind The Galleon. Providing their offices with outdoor space encourages this much needed engagement among the workers while they follow the health protocols that are now vital in the new normal.

Landscaping is currently underway at this Ortigas Land development. The ground-floor landscaping creates a mini linear park that softens the urban hardscape along ADB Avenue. We design not only to elevate our client’s real estate portfolio, but also to create an enjoyable walking experience for everyone, regardless of ability.
