PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
A graduate of Landscape Architecture at the University of the Philippines, in Diliman, Quezon City, AJ has over 20 years of experience in designing master planned developments, parks, streetscapes, tourism destinations, estates and condominiums. He has received mentorship from esteemed industry pioneers in the country. His wandering nature has helped him combine his academic skills with what he now considers as his most valuable design skill—listening. Through his travels and interactions with diverse people, he realizes that true fulfillment comes from connecting with others and understanding the community. This mindset has shaped him into a compassionate and insightful designer who deeply cares about the people around him.

Our greatest achievement is standing strong where we are right now. Journeying together in a humble landscape architecture firm takes grit and determination. We are all a constant work-in-progress and our good (and not so good) professional experiences in the past make up who we are as landscape architects at this moment in time.
For our principal landscape architect, starting a small firm in uncertain times back in 2010 was a courageous move. He had a vision and he was determined to make it a reality. Years later, this dream lives on for the next generation of landscape architects at AJM whose hard work and talents continue to pay off with spectacular results, far exceeding expectations.
Seeing everyone in the AJM community grow and thrive as the firm develops is immensely gratifying. Season after season, project after project, we have seized every opportunity to advance the profession of landscape architecture for the transformation of lives in cities and communities. This, by far, is our greatest achievement. We look towards the horizon and press on.
